Why Air Duct Sealing is Essential in Napa

Signs You May Need Air Duct Sealing in Napa:

Are your utility bills excessively high during peak seasons? Does your home take a long time to achieve the desired temperature? Is there noticeable dust and debris being blown around your house? These issues might indicate leaks, holes, disconnected ducts, or unbalanced air flow in your duct system.

Sealing your air ducts can significantly improve comfort and energy efficiency in your home. According to Energy Star, 20-30% of air can be lost through duct leaks, causing your HVAC system to work harder and pulling dust from attics or crawl spaces into your living areas.

The Air Doctor Standards

Air Doctor adheres to NADCA standard specification guide and uses the source removal method. We use a portable HEPA filtered air duct vacuum system (and/or gas-powered commercial air duct vacuums) to clean all supply ducts, return air ducts, and plenums. This system is brought into each room and used in conjunction with a compressed air whip (and/or rotating power brushes). The air whip agitates the duct while the HEPA filtered air duct vacuum system creates a negative vacuum at 3500 cfm (up to 10,000 cfm with our gas-powered commercial air duct vacuums). Once each supply air duct is cleaned, the return air system is cleaned in the same fashion. Finally, we clean the furnace unit.
